This anthology holds some of Morris’ writings and reflections. Despite the odds against him, underprivileged from childhood, he refused to give up. He credited his perseverance to his grandmother.
Major Morris, 1921-2016, led a remarkably accomplished life as an educator and photographer. A high school dropout, born into poverty in Cincinnati, OH, he got his Ed.M. from Harvard at the age of 55.
